MACCIA SNDTWU Pre-Incubation Center

The Pre-Incubation Hub enables institutes to systematically nurture innovation through onboarding, digital integration, activation, and acceleration phases. It connects students, faculty, mentors, and industry, supporting idea validation and prototype development. Aligned with NEP2020 and NCrF, it fosters employability, entrepreneurship, and measurable innovation outcomes through guided mentoring and technology-enabled execution.

  • Steps:

    1. Understand & Align: Institutes learn about the Pre-Incubation Cell model, its benefits, and alignment with NEP-2020 and NCrF frameworks.

    2. Submit Expression of Interest (EOI): Formalize participation through leadership approval, coordinator nomination, and institute readiness assessment.

    3. Subscription & Setup: Select a suitable subscription plan, complete formalities, and access INNOeVERSITY’s digital toolkit, policy templates, and SOPs.


    Description:
    This phase establishes institutional readiness and commitment to innovation. It creates leadership buy-in, sets strategic goals, and ensures policy-driven groundwork for the Pre-Incubation Hub and innovation clubs.

  • Steps:

    1. Register Stakeholders: Nominate and register faculty, student coordinators, and mentors on the digital platform.

    2. Activate Dashboards: Configure institute dashboards to track innovation progress, labs, and industry connections.

    3. Diagnose & Train: Conduct readiness assessments, finalize SOPs, and train coordinators in innovation management and mentoring.

     

    Description:
    Institutes connect digitally to the ecosystem. This stage enhances faculty and coordinator capacity, ensures visibility of labs and technologies, and activates digital linkages with mentors, investors, and industries for collaborative innovation.

  • Steps:

    1. Launch Innovation Challenges: Conduct intra-institute competitions to identify and nurture high-potential ideas.

    2. Form Innovation Clubs: Establish structured clubs, allocate roles, and plan mentoring and bootcamp activities.

    3. Showcase Innovations: Publish a Technology Transfer Booklet and pitch innovations to industry mentors and investors.

    This phase brings innovation to life. Institutes engage students and faculty in ideation, validation, and mentorship, building a culture of creativity and entrepreneurship through structured programs and real-world challenges.

  • Steps:

    1. Refine & Validate Concepts: Develop business model canvases, conduct feasibility and market validation with mentor support.

    2. Prototype Development & Testing: Create working prototypes, gather user feedback, and document validation outcomes.

    3. Investor & Industry Connect: Organize investor meets, pitch sessions, and link validated ideas to incubation and funding opportunities.

     

    Description:
    This final phase accelerates selected innovations toward commercialization. With guided mentoring, prototype validation, and access to funding networks, innovators transition from ideas to market-ready solutions, contributing to employment, start-up creation, and institutional excellence.
